College Readiness Measures & Standards
FEATURED RESOURCE
College readiness is most often measured through high school course-taking patterns, grades, and standardized test scores. Due to disconnects between P–12 and postsecondary education systems, however, even those students meeting various proficiency measures may be underprepared for the rigors of college-level courses. Resources in this topic primarily focus on improving the reliability of college-readiness measures, including research and recommendations on improving secondary and postsecondary alignment.
